On April 24th, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari met with Luo Zhaohui, Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA). Both leaders expressed a shared vision for their respective nations’ futures by emphasizing trade, economy, agriculture, and cultural exchanges, underscoring the importance of this project in strengthening already strong ties through the Pak-China Corridor.

The Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was at the core of their discussions, an enormously consequential project for both nations. President Zardari highlighted its strategic importance and regional connectivity benefits, specifically emphasizing Gwadar Port as its key location.
