The Road Ahead

One of the highlight proposals includes the establishment of a Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and an economic zone near Karachi. The planned rail-based DFC is set to run from Karachi Port on the Arabian Sea, passing through Karachi to the Marshalling Yard Pipri, located approximately 50 kilometers away. This initiative is expected to significantly boost trade and transportation in the region.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan underscored the country’s dedication to fostering partnerships for achieving its geo-economic ambitions.
